I have previously served a 4 year term on the SfAM Executive Committee but from July 2015, Ihave  taken on the honarary role of SfAM General Secretary.

As well as being the oldest microbiology society in the UK, SfAM has an international membership with members from over 90 different countries. As the voice of applied microbiology, SfAM works to advance, for the benefit of the public, the science of microbiology in its application to the environment, human and animal health, agriculture, and industry.
